I must begin with a confession. I am not a blogger and frankly, I have no great desire to have a blog of my own. Ranting, raving and rambling on in cyberspace is not my thing. I am not a “nerd” and struggle with my desktop at the best of times. There is also surely, some element of narcissism in wanting to expose/share’s own private thoughts with the rest of the universe? Give me a good book anytime please.
This blog was driven by the imperative spelt out by Assignment 3 of the course – Document Design and Publication. Having said that, I must admit in retrospect that it was not such a painful exercise after all and indeed, quite a novel experience. I could see some merit in blogs only because it is a “chaotic” medium” where anything goes and where one is not tied down by rules and a host of requirements.
